Keyboard software issues, can not access the computer?
Well, the computer my husband has a USB Dell keyboard rt7d50 with a particular driver is not working anymore. Essentially, he took his computer, and restarted later without the keyboard plugged in, and now its Windows Xp proffessional was determined not to accept keyboard input, he bought another keyboard, and it refuses to work. If he could connect, it might be set to accept, but in order to connect, it needs to access the keyboard. It has no Ps2 taken, just USB, and uses a Windows XP Proffessional program. We heard something about a keyboard Legacy setting of some sort, but it can not find it. If someone has an idea how to help, please respond, we want to avoid having to reformat the entire computer Thanks I'm not even sure it work ..
Windows except sometimes some hardware in the USB port to which they were installed in.
