A netbook is smaller and lighter version of the traditional laptop to use internet and email.
2009 was the year of mobile phones, as new products coming on the market from manufacturers such as Sony. Its P Vaio offers choices wide functions, and compete with established brands such as Acer netbook.

So if you decided to buy a laptop not dear this season, here are some options for you.

Acer Aspire One D150
Acer has recently launched the new 10.1-inch Aspire One D150 at a price of Rs 20,999. After the 8.9-inch Aspire One, Acer knocks the netbook segment with an offer of 10.1 LCD WXGA display 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and Acer CrystalBrite Technology.

It features the 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor N270, a chipset that Intel 945GSE Intel GMA950 graphics capabilities. In addition, it comes with 1 GB of DDR2 memory that can be extended to 2 GB of DDR2 memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Acer Crystal Eye Webcam and USB ports. The device has a multi-touch trackpad and a six-cell Li-ion battery that promises up to five hours of battery life.

For a change, Acer includes Windows XP with Service Pack 3 pre-loaded into the AOD150 with the system Operating Linpus Linux Lite available in previous models.

Samsung NC20
The Samsung NC20 is a netbook which uses the VIA Nano U2250 (1.3 GHz, 800 MHz), and includes 1 GB of memory standard. The 12.1 "screen size is larger than normal in this class of ultra portable PC.

The screen backlit LED has a bright screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. An external monitor can be used by the standard VGA connector.

Other features include a full keyboard which is covered with anti-bacterial Nano Silver ions, the standard 18.5mm Key pitch between keys, memory slot for 2GB of RAM and standard hard drive internal 160 GB SATA, Ethernet, 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3 USB 2.0 drive SD card, stereo speakers, headphone / microphone jacks. Lenovo IdeaPad S10
The IdeaPad S10 is an online consumer netbook offering a variety of colors such as Pearl White, black, red, blue and pink. They have a 10.2 "TFT 1024×600 active-matrix display with a hard 80 or 160 GB HDD and 512 MB or 1 GB DDR2 RAM, both of which are easily updated via an access panel user on the bottom of the netbook.

Estimated at Rs 20.990, the netbook packs 1.6-GHz Intel Atom N270 processor and runs Windows XP Home Edition. They argue 802.11 b / g wireless network and come with two USB ports, an ExpressCard expansion slot, a 4-in-1 Media Reader, weighs 1.25 kilograms, a VGA output, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and a built-in microphone.

HP Mini 1109TU
It is a small netbook 10.1 inches widescreen LED-backlit, 2USB ports, Headphone-out Jack and mic combo. It weighs only 1.09 kg with a price tag of 21,490, plus taxes is an ideal choice for consumers.

HP Mini 1109TU running Windows XP Home and powered by Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, 1GB memory capacity and 80 GB of storage. It also sports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Norton AV, and built a memory card reader.

Sony Vaio P
P Sony Vaio comes with either a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 or a processor of 1.6 GHz Atom Z530, and 2 GB of DDR2 533 MHz FSB. It has an 8 "LED backlit display with resolution native 1600×768 and weighs only 1.4-1.7 lbs. It comes preinstalled with Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Business, depending on model.

The Sony Vaio P is available in four color options, Black, Red, Green and White. Other features include an integrated webcam, integrated GPS, Bluetooth, 802.11 b / g / n wireless, mobile broadband, and an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500 video card but no optical drive. Depends on the model, storage is a floppy disk drive 60 GB or 64 GB or 128 GB solid state drive. At a price tag of $ 900, the user could not call it a netbook.
