When using silicone bathroom sealant when it says the silicone skins does that mean its waterproof?
The sealant im going to use says it skins in 1-2 hours does that mean its waterproof? as it then says its completely dry in 1-2 days? So Just wondering at what point am i able to have a shower and get it wet?
“skins in 1-2 hours” means it dries to the touch – but it’s not waterproof then. The “completely dry in 1-2 days” means “then you can take a shower”. How long depends on the humidity level in your room. Put a fan on it to circulate the air, and wait at least 24 hours.
